Robert Maskell plays Porter / Stage Manager
Robert has recently been playing Wilfred Cedar in an acclaimed production of Somerset Maugham’s For Services Rendered at the Union Theatre with Vital Signs Theatre.
West End theatre: Tabarro and both leads, Georges and Albin, in La Cage aux Folles (the Playhouse) and Max Detweiler in The Sound of Music (the Palladium).
Further theatre roles include: Mrs Horrocks and Big Chief in the comedy A Fistful of Barton (the
Warehouse Theatre); the King in Henry IV parts I and II in the Forty Hall Open-Air Theatre season;Michael in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me and Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night (both at the Broadway Theatre, Lewisham); a very depressed Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach and Messrs Scoblowski and Thompson, and the lovely Mademoiselle in Daisy Pulls It Off (both at the Watermill).

Robert was, for 20 years, a professional French horn player, including 10 years with the Philharmonia.
